CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY

CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT POLICY

When you book your appointment with The Boiz during our business hours from Monday to Friday that time is reserved exclusively for you.  That is so we can provide you with quality service.  You appreciate that if time is reserved exclusively for your appointment, then no other client can book an appointment for the same service provider during that time. 

We understand circumstances arise that do not allow you to keep your appointment.

This policy will apply to your cancellation of your appointment unless at the sole discretion of The Boiz, the policy is waived because of your particular circumstances.

To avoid having to pay the cost of your appointment, even though you have or will cancel your appointment without having received the service(s) you booked, you must give us at least 48 business hours of your booked appointment time, cancel your booking:

  1. cancelling it on the app, mySalonapp.

  2. telephoning mobile number 0488 211 811 and leave a message that you are cancelling your appointment booked for the time and date of that appointment and the name of client for whom the booking was made.

  3. sending an email to Info@theboiz.com.au notifying us that you are cancelling your appointment booked for the time and date of that appointment and the name of client for whom the booking was made.

This minimum 48 business hours’ notice allows us to re-book your allocated appointment time for another client(s).  You appreciate that as a business providing services on a time basis, we would suffer loss of income unless we have sufficient time to allocate your appointment time to another client. 

If you do not cancel your appointment at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, you will be a “No Show” for that appointment time. 

If you are a “No Show”:

  1. you will be required to pay for your appointment.

  2. when you book your next appointment, you will be required to pay the cost of that service in advance.  If you refuse to pay the cost of the service in advance, The Boiz reserves the right to refuse to accept your requested appointment.

Examples of the application of the 48 hours’ notice requirement:

  • Your appointment is for Monday, 13 September 2021 at 11am.  Your cancellation notice must be given to The Boiz by 11am on Thursday 9 September 2021, at the latest. 

  • Your appointment is for Wednesday, 15 September 2021 at 11am.  Your cancellation notice must be given to The Boiz by 11am on Monday, 13 September 2021, at the latest.


IF YOU CANCEL ON TIME

If you cancel your appointment no later than 48 hours prior to your original booked appointment, you may re-schedule your appointment without penalty. 


YOU ARE RUNNING LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT POLICY

When you book your appointment with The Boiz during our business hours from Monday to Friday that time is reserved exclusively for you.  That is so we can provide you with quality service during the allocated booked time. 

You appreciate that if time is reserved exclusively for your appointment, and you are running late, for The Boiz to provide your quality service for the time allocated to provide this service, this may encroach on the start time of the next client and each other client booked for that service provider for that day. 

This may cause other clients, who arrived on time, to feel frustrated and not valued, where they have arrived on time and expected the booked time to have been reserved exclusively for them for the booked service.  

We understand that life’s commitments can unexpectedly cause you to be unusually late for your arrival for your booked appointment.  However, The Boiz wish to be fair and considerate of all their clients.  This policy seeks to achieve that.

This policy will apply when you are running late for your appointment unless at the sole discretion of The Boiz, the policy is waived because of your particular circumstances.

If you are running late, please telephone mobile number 0488 211 811 and leave a message that you are running late for your appointment and your expected time of arrival.   

The Boiz reserve the right to complete the services you have booked by the end time allocated for your booked service.  You acknowledge that in those circumstances, The Boiz cannot warrant they can provide the quality service provided during the full allocated booked time in that lesser time. 

If you are so late that the service is not possible in the limited time still available for the time allocated for your booking, your appointment will be regarded as a “No Show”.

If you are a “No Show”:

  1. you will be required to pay for your appointment.

  2. when you book your next appointment, you will be required to pay the cost of that service in advance.  If you refuse to pay the cost of the service in advance, The Boiz reserves the right to refuse to accept your requested appointment.
