CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY
The Boiz — Cancellation, Lateness & No‑Show Policy
Effective from: 16 April 2026
At The Boiz, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. As a one‑man salon, last‑minute changes and missed appointments have a significant impact on my day and limit availability for other clients. This policy helps keep the schedule running smoothly and ensures fairness for everyone.
1. Your Appointment Time
Your appointment time is the moment your service is scheduled to begin. To help the day run on time, please arrive with enough time to settle in so you can be in the chair and ready to start at your booked time.
2. Cancellation Notice — 48 Hours Required
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellations via social media aren’t accepted, as these platforms aren’t monitored for scheduling.
3. Late Cancellations (Less Than 48 Hours)
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are considered a Late Cancellation.
A Late Cancellation Fee of 50%–100% of the booked service value may apply, depending on the notice given and whether the appointment can be filled.
This fee reflects the genuine loss of income when a reserved appointment cannot be rebooked.
4. No‑Shows
A No‑Show occurs when you do not attend your appointment and do not contact me before your scheduled time.
No‑Shows are charged 100% of the booked service value. Future appointments will require full prepayment.
5. Running Late
Your appointment time is when your service begins. To avoid delays for other clients, please ensure you are in the chair and ready to start at your scheduled time.
If delays occur:

Up to 10 minutes late (including settling‑in time): I’ll do my best to complete your service, though it may need to be adjusted.

More than 10 minutes late: there may not be enough time to complete your service, and the appointment may need to be treated as a No‑Show.
In these cases, the full service fee still applies.
6. Deposits & Prepayments
Some appointments may require a deposit or full prepayment to secure the booking.
Deposits and prepayments are:

Non‑refundable for Late Cancellations or No‑Shows

Fully transferable with more than 48 hours’ notice
Clients with a history of late cancellations or no‑shows will be required to prepay all future appointments.
7. Illness, Emergencies & Exceptional Circumstances
Life happens. If you’re unwell or experiencing an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible. At my discretion, fees may be waived or the appointment rescheduled without penalty.
8. Communication Expectations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me promptly. Repeated failure to communicate may result in refusal of future bookings.
9. Agreement to This Policy
By booking an appointment with The Boiz, you agree to the terms of this Cancellation, Lateness & No‑Show Policy.
